The Worship Service on Saturday/Sunday is the high-point of our week. Many of us would have gone through a less than perfect week. This is the time when we intentionally leave the anxieties of the world behind us. It is a time to decompress in a healthy, spiritual way.
Worship refocuses our eyes on God and prepares us for the week ahead. Worship re-calibrates the other days of the week. Worship is a retreat from the world to reengage the world.
Worship is all at once God-centered, Christ-centered, and Word-centered. We believe the Word of God should be interpreted Right and Relevant. God's Word is more than abstract truth, it is also relevant truth.
We want you to have a great experience when you visit us. If you will let us know ahead of time, we will have someone walk you through before you arrive and when you arrive.
We love kids. Jesus says, "Such is the kingdom of heaven." The local church of Christ will always be richer for the presence of kids. Even infants. Is it bad to have infants cry during worship? It's infinitely worse to have no infants and no crying.
We are a family church in that we have families here. Younger families can learn from older ones and vice-versa. Our kids program uses Gospel Project by Lifeway. It is a great program that fun for the kids. This is tied in to the sermon topics so parents can interact meaningfully with their kids outside the Sunday.
Our dedicated team of teachers ensure your child will have a safe and fun time that develops their spiritual life and character.
We have been engaged in the Philippines for more than two years. Our work involves financial support to the church and to the desperately poor with prayer and personnel training.
We help support our mission pastor to strengthen and encourage him. In addition, we support a feeding program for children who live under the bridge (of the Pasig River). Food without education will not provide long term blessings. So we engage in a scholarship program to help students go to school. In several instances, families begin to come to worship, consequently, we have also embarked on helping families in a livelihood program. From time to time, Philippines is struck by disasters. As the Lord leads and provides, we also engage in disaster relief.
As we minister to the needy, the Lord has also blessed the local church which had been strengthened.
We have recently partnered with Antioch Toa Payoh Outreach to minister to the residents of the one room rental flats in the Toa Payoh area.
Our next event is to share the love of Christ at Christmas through the special event on 21 December 2019 at the Event Hall near Block 13.
We are also exploring other ministry opportunities to come alongside and strengthen those who serve in this ministry.
"If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?" (1 John 3:17)
2020 will be the year we resume our ministry to Christian Singles in Singapore. Before we were even registered, we had organized Singles Events, but had to put a pause to it.
The Lord has given us renewed opportunities to bless the Singles. The needs of Christian Singles are as varied as each individual, and we can safely say they go beyond finding a life-partner. Even though the majority of the Events planned will have an emphasis on finding a life-partner, we see Christian Singles as complete persons with great potential to live powerful lives that bring glory to God and joy to themselves.
