Because Jesus meets us there. This woman was a social outcast because she had five husbands and was living with yet another man. Jesus met her at the village well, gave her the water of life, and satisfied her unfilled longing.

Because God supplies us there. This man dug a well in the desert to supply his family and flock. But his enemies seized it. He dug another well, and they seized that too. He dug a third well, and there God supplied him, and his enemies finally left him alone.

They needed a fresh start, found God, and flourished. We are about finding God, starting afresh, and flourishing.
